Why?

we judge each other
disgusting to me
take away the chance to see
what is there for us to find
remind, yourself how it felt
to melt
down in the heat
and be beat up
or beat down
into the ground by judgement
I am sick to death of this callous
if I could change the ways
of the days
and the effects
of the suns rays
on us all I'd still pray
That we come to terms with ourselves
before we open our mouths
to saywhat we're thinking
and stop drinking
to alter perception,
false courage
liquid confidence,
demanding attention
pretentiousness abounds
a few more rounds
and fall down
not beat up
or down
just pushed around a little
by judgement
