Haven't Blogged in Forever!!!

So, things have recently changed.....

I've left the big city! 7 years was just about enuf. I dont want to say that it wore me out...I think I wore 'IT' out!

First of all, I made way too many friends, and kept myself way too busy....so busy that I never had any 'ME' time.
And just to keep up with most of my friends I was finding ways to energize when I was tired and de-energize when i was too wired to sleep. Self medicating made me a mess and I am glad I've made this change.

I have been here only a week and I feel amazing!!

Seeing family, getting to know my family actually...apreciating them for who they really are rather than this illusion I held onto from when I was a child. Seeing my cousin who is now 4 and I cant wait to see grown up! She looks exactly like all of us when we were kids.

I think I'm finally starting to grow up! at 30, how depressing! haha I'm ok with it though, I'm a young 30 ;o)

As I type Grandma is in the kitchen reading the paper as dinner cooks.
I just got home from working with my aunt building a deck nearby. its only my second day working with her and I can fully appreciate the work she does.

Since being on the island again I had some time with Dustin (best friend of 20 years) long overdue! And visitied my mom in the hospital, for something they can't seem to figure out! Going back to see her again tomorrow, and then going to vancouver for a cpl days for Dr appts and to see a few friends.
