Today....

Well tonight might have been the greatest day of my life since the day 'tuck your pants into your socks' was no longer popular.
do you rememnber that?....what the hell were we thinking?....and slouch socks....wow.
I worked a normal 8 hr day, at my normal job, made 50 dozen doughnuts (which I've been eating 6 of a day!) working at a new location, same routine but new place to put things. got off work went for a drink with a co-worker, chatted at the waitresses and bartenders, my roomate picked me up drove me home I watched some TV, checked emails....and am now writing in my blog because I am at the point of realization where I'm noticing how well I'm adjusting to Stratford.
Very cool feeling.
I miss you all
Love Phil

Back Home From Mee-hee-co!!

WOW!
Mexico was amazing! I've never had such a cool and relaxing trip, I learned some spanish "qui est serr minovia?" got me in trouble a few times but "poquito espanol" always saved my ass...lol
Al and I had a great experience we met a tonne of interesting and helpful people.

For those of you who don't know I went on this trip with a guy I met while backpacking across canada this summer in Calgary. He is a quadrapelegic and has the most amazing attitude towards life I've ever seen. He's a funny, fun and just plain ridiculous guy! I took him to his first gay bar....he was scared to hit on the women tho, cuz someone told him they were all really men!

I got to use those 2 years of nursing training finally and turns out I'm not such a bad one after all...at least I think.

it was a 7 day all inclusive Puerto Vallartan Dream....pool and beach in the mornings, travelling later in the day down the Malecon, checking out a few clubs at night. Hanging out with Chris, Hailey and Kelly two twins and one of their daughters at the resort all day. Oliver and Michael a young couple from NYC that like to wear lil boys underwear around the resort (I know ur reading this Ollie and Mike...totally scandalous!)

Wendy, Duane, Roquell, Randy and Kurt from Van BC ...the place i miss so very much! Duane is the reason men shouldn't wear skirts and should wear sunscreen!

Bill and Jeff who werer huge helps and great friends to us. Went back to Long Beach Ca. way too early!

Adalia at the Omelette station and her 'fiance' who I may have homewrecked unintentionally....haha ya I asked her to be my gf (qui est serr minovia?) didn't go over so well with her fiance....maybe the ONLY time 'poquito espanol' failed me.

Sean and lindsay and their two friends, offered help at every turn...great young married couples from Hannah Alberta!

Yared and his cousin Chelsea who are amaqzing locals I got to know and I'll be keeping in touch with 4 sure!

My favourite time on this trip has got to be excursion Al and I went on to find the gay beach...man what a treck at least 3 or 4 hrs oh walking and backtracking and getting lost....nothin better to do in another country than get lost. Jaunting up the steep slopes....holding the chair with all my strength to make it down the steep ones. We had a hell of an adventure.
Being called 'Guapo' by everyone.....it means handsome.....not too shabby!
I got a great ....no...AMAZING tan (Tim Hortons X-mas party lastnight)

and I'm back home now with a week off work....and its snowing ....alot....and seeing as how Vancouver snow is never there long or deep enuf I felt it necessary to do something I haven't done since I was a kid!

Cheers guys love you all!
